Like other Justrite cans they have built in flame arrestors but being manufactured from polyethylene they are inert and stand up to acids and corrosives as well as heat. They are dent and puncture resistant and because they have a conductive, current-carrying carbon insert imbedded in them, they can be earthed with an earthing wire, this feature is unique to Justrite.

The Safe -Squeeze trigger has been designed to make pouring easy. It operates by working with the natural action of the hand closing, reducing strain and making it effortless to operate.

The transport versions have the added feature of a protective " roll cage " to minimise accidental damage to the working parts during transportation.

Ideal for High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) applications these cans offer a safe and easy way to collect liquid waste. The durable polyethylene construction with easy disconnect fittings allows free flow of solvents into the container which is translucent to allow you to easily check the level at a glance. The two stage coalescing filters capture 99% of liquid particulates released in the form of gaseous vapour. The carbon filter twists on top of the coalescing filter and has a colour indicator to indicate when a replacement is required. The coalescing filter can be used 3-4 times with a new filter before replacement.

Quickly and easily allow you to safely moisten cleaning cloths etc. ensuring the liquid is under your control. The perforated screen acts as a flame arrestor and all the cans are backed by a 10 year warranty.

Dip and wash tanks are used for soaking and washing components with flammable liquids, they have manual stay open lids with a built-in mechanism that in the event of a fire slams the lid shut (at 74 C) and extinguishes the burning contents. Wash tanks come complete with a steel parts basket which allows the liquid to drain back into the tank. The HDPE versions of both tanks provide additional protection against harsh, corrosive chemicals and reduce the risk of damaging polished surfaces.

FEATURES OF OILY WASTE CANS

A galvanised steel body with durable, powder coat paint finish, self-closing lid to reduce oxygen source and prevent fires from starting. The can sits on ventilated plinth which allows air to pass underneath, dissipate any heat and also greatly reduce the risk of spontaneous combustion.

FEATURES OF TAPS

These self-closing taps incorporate an internal flame arrestor to prevent "flashback" of fire into the drum. Both the brass and stainless steel taps feature Teflon seals while the zinc versions have a Buna-N gasket. Once an adjustable tap has been fully screwed into the drum, it can be adjusted to ensure the opening is downward facing, without damaging the drum thread or any leaks occurring.
If you are dispensing viscous non-corrosive product such as adhesive, paint or oils above 30W then a 2" gate valve tap is ideal.

FEATURES OF SIPHON ADAPTER:

Designed to allow you to drain down to the last few ml of liquid in your 205ltr drum and ensure you don't waste expensive product. Simply screw one end into the ¾ " opening and attach a ¾" drum tap to the other end.

FEATURES OF DRUM VENTS:

In the event of a fire the hazard of a drum leaking or exploding due to excessive pressure can be alleviated by the use of a vent .In normal use they automatically provide pressure relief by the valve operating at 5psi internal pressure. Vacuum relief is either manual or automatic depending on the model, all vents have flame arrestors for

FEATURES OF FILL VENTS:

Built from brass or hi-density polyethylene with 152mm flame arrestors they fit the 2" opening on a drum. They have automatic pressure and vacuum relief, the screw on cap is attached by a chain, to stop it being misplaced, while the funnel has a 229mm dia opening to reduce spills during pouring.

All vents fit the 2" opening on the drum.
