 FEATURES OF DRUM STORES
Designed to ensure compliance with regulations such as The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage)(England) Regulations and Pollution Prevention Guidelines PPG26 , issued by the Environment Agencies for the UK.
These units are manufactured from welded mild steel, with the shelving system built into the fabric of the unit adding to the overall strength, if a drum falls from the shelf it cannot breach the walls. The sumps, which are fully seam welded, hold 25% of the combined total of the store's capacity, it sits on hollow section plinths, which ensure that the underside of the sump does not come into contact with the ground, reducing the opportunity for corrosion to set in.
After they have been shot blasted to clean and prepare the surface they are painted to a minimum thickness of 100 microns in green RAL6029. high and low level vents are fitted as standard.
FEATURES OF IBC STORES Manufactured from mild steel, using an all welded construction for additional strength the stores have additional; internal space built-in to the design to aid loading and unloading of the IBC's. The sumps hold 25% of the stores total capacity (110% in the case of the SIBC10 to ensure they comply with current guidelines and regulations. The stores sit on plinths, which ensure that the underside of the sump does not come into contact with the ground, reducing the opportunity for corrosion to set in. After they have been shot blasted to clean and prepare the surface they are painted to a minimum thickness of 100 microns in Blue RAL5019. high and low level vents are fitted as standard.

These flammable liquid storage units are manufactured to the following specification:
A rolled hollow section, fully welded frame is in filled with Hipertec wall and roof panels. The panels are manufactured with an inner insulating core of orientated fibre, high density Rockwool, with an outer skin of micro-ribbed steel sheets ( total thickness of panel 80mm). The insulation is arranged perpendicular to the plane of the panel and positioned in strips, laid longitudinally with offset joints and transversely compacted in such a way as to completely fill the space between the steel sheets.
Each unit has a 3mm thick, full-length seam welded steel sump with profiled rib strengtheners. The entire unit sits on hollow section plinths, which ensure that the underside of the sump does not come into contact with the ground, reducing the opportunity for corrosion to set in.
The sump is designed to hold 25% of the combined total of the unit's capacity in line with regulations such as The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage)(England) Regulations, and Pollution Prevention Guideline PPG26 issued by the Environment Agencies for the UK.
High and low level vents are fitted as standard, which in turn are fitted with intumescent elements, which expand to seal the vents at temperatures above 150 C. The composite panels have a powder coat paint finish.
